Lacuna Coil is Italian gothic-metal band. They have said they've been influenced by bands such as Paradise Lost, Tiamat, Type O Negative, In Flames, My Dying Bride… For the most part of their career they made midtempo songs consisting of guitar lines overlayed with prominent keyboard work, and contrasting dual female and male vocal harmonies to help create a melodic detached sound. Natron are one of the most influential Italian death metal bands of the last 15 years. They were one of the first death metal bands to emerge from Italy in the early nineties. With their blend made of early 90's death metal psychotic riffs and unearthly horror moods built on refined and ultra-powerful grinding rhythmic grounds, and massive vocal patterns growling eerie lyrics helped the band to distinguish itself from the mass of hundreds of brutal death bands in the underground metal community. Their second album ''Negative Prevails'' was recorded under supervision of Tommy and Peter Tagtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain).
