Ako si prehlađen i piješ mlijeko. You don't drink milk, you're drinking bilk. Ako biraš ime benda dadaističkom metodom, otvoriš rječnik nasumce i upreš prstom. Tvoj dadaistički bend od tog se trenutka zove Bilk.
Bilk su osnovali u Zagrebu 1999. godine srednjoškolski prijatelji Janko Novoselić (danas T.B.F.), Miroslav Piškulić (danas Hemendex), Tin Oberman i Luka Vrbanić. Nakon mnogo previranja s postavom benda i koketiranja s raznim glazbenim žanrovima bend se ustalio i kristalizirao u bubanj, bas i elektroničke naprave svirajući živi drum'n'bass. Snimili subriljantan breakbeat noise drum'n'bass album "This Bilk Is Radioactive" koji je 2006. objavljen za Moonlee Records. Bilk su danas Tin Oberman (synth/vokal), Luka Vrbanić (bass) i Edi Grubišić Cipal (bubanj, ex T.B.F.).

Elektronično i električno, vrlo subverzivno. Tako sebe ukratko opisuju Tin, Luka i Cipal, a oni koji poznaju Bilkovce znaju da su njihovi nastupi iskustvo koje žele ponoviti. Bilk je breakbeat koji vas navodi na neprestani tres i ples, okret i pokret … to je Black Bilk Science. 2007. godine na koncertima su rasplesali francuze i talijane, Nastupali su s 4 hero u B2 u Moskvi i s Disciplinom Kičme na Sziget Festivalu u Budimpešti. BILK was established in Zagreb (Croatia) in 1999. After few years of genre and line-up experimenting, BILK emerged to wider regional scene in 2004 as drums+bass+synthesizer trio. In 2005 BILK went to the legendary Kozmo Studio in Zagreb and recorded their debut album called "This BILK is Radioactive" which was released in 2006 by Moonlee Records.
Since than BILK played in region and wider, making French, Italian, German, Hungarian, Russian... audiences party and dance, and on major festivals alongside 4 hero, LTJ Bukem, Disciplina Kitschme etc.
Edi Grubišić a.k.a. Cipal, Tin Oberman and Luka Vrbanić are a professional drummer, architect and a doctor, respectively, and they use their skills and gifts fully - building their sound with surgery precision. Always assimilating new technologies and exploring uncharted territories of live sound creation and manipulation, their sound is as intricate as their setup - men and machines in a mesh of audio, MIDI and optical cables and wireless connections - resulting in electronic and electric broken dance music.
New material, which they have meticulously recorded in past two years, is now in post-production phase and should be released any time soon. Until that happens you have a unique opportunity to hear the upcoming songs at the BILK live show!

MESZECSINKA (Budapest)

Grupa Meszecsinka je trenutno jedan od najjačih novih mađarskih world music bendova. Predvođeni Annamáriom Oláh, pjevačicom mađarskog i bugarskog porijekla izuzetnog glasa, Meszecsinka u svom zvuku spajaju različite svjetove u jedinstven zvuk u kojem zajedno u harmoniji koegzistiraju etno, folk, psihodelija, s povremenim eksperimentalnim momentima. Mješanjem žanrova te šarmantnom i vrlo slušljivom i plesnom glazbom Meszecsinka na živim nastupima s lakoćom hipnotizira svaku publiku, a posebno je zanimljiv i naglašen multikulturalni aspekt benda, jer pjevaju na čak sedam jezika - mađarskom, romskom, bugarskom, finskom, engleskom, arapskom i španjolskom! Iako se radi o novoj grupi članovi su prekaljeni veterani mađarske scene te smo neke od njih mogli više puta vidjeti i na koncertima u Zagrebu u grupama kao što su Kampec Dolores, Korai Öröm i Trottel Stereodream Experience.

Annamari Oláh (voice) and Emil Biljarszki (piano, guitar) first played together in 2008 under the name Fókaszalon. They played Fókatelep's songs and other songs accompanied by acoustics. The audience bought on the more intimate songs, which led to frequent concerts, the inclusion of their own songs into the repertoire, and the joining of new members into the band. In late 2009 the band was named Meszecsinka, which means little Moon in Bulgarian. In January 2010 they recorded the six songs of the demo, of which Zene.hu writes the following:
"Softer, more energetic, English, Spanish and Hungarian folk melodies with simple but highly fitting sound and great singing. Little Moon, that is likely to shine brighter and brighter in the sky of the Hungarian underground."
In the last two years Meszecsinka played in several clubs, festivals in Budapest and the countryside (VIDOR, Mesterségek Ünnepe, Művészetek Völgye, Szegedi Várjátékok), and has visited Poland twice as part of the Hungarian Days of Krosno.
In May 2011 the band was awarded the first prize in the Folkbeats talent-search competition (in which nearly a hundred applicants took part): a tour in America.
Magyar Narancs published a one and a half page interview with the band, and they made it to the first page of the Zenész Magazin. They played in front of an audience of several thousand on the stage in Clark Ádám tér. They have also played with the very best of the genre in MÜPA, in the Feast of Folk Music, offering - according to Fidelio - "the most original sound".
Meszecsinka was born at the full moon, from a special form of magic. Its name means little Moon, and is originated in a Bulgarian folk song. They sing in seven languages (Hungarian, Gypsy, Bulgarian, Spanish, Finnish, English, Arab), they come from two countries (Hungary, Bulgaria) and are heading for one country: Wonderland. They only do, what they can't not do. They incorporate many styles, but have a style of their own, their own life. They play from the inside, and wonder at the world. They are soft and pliant, but leave no doubts. They go round the hit lists, and steal into people's hearts. They do not call for your "like", but for Yourself. Stay still, and you'll hear.

NINA ROMIĆ (Zagreb)

NIKOLINA ROMIĆ je mlada kantautorica iz Zagreba, a glazbom se bavi odmalena. Sklada i izvodi balade uz pratnju akustične gitare. Godine 2006. snimila je EP u suradnji sa dubrovačkom grupom Izae.
U svoj repertoar uvrštava i hrvatske tradicijske napjeve. Godine 2007., surađivala je sa Dunjom Knebl na albumu "Kite i kitice" koji je osvojio prve nagrade u kategoriji najboljeg etno albuma u Hrvatskoj i u BiH. Suradnja s Dunjom se nastavlja iduće godine kada snima album "Dođe Božić, oj koledo".
Sudjeluje u multimedijalnom ethno projektu [m=V], Dunje Knebl, te je ujedno česti gost i počasni član ethno-doom grupe [S.o.M.].
Autorska glazba koju izvodi može se okarakterizirati kao melankolična i psihodelična akustika, sa primjesama folka - u kontekstu minimalističnog skladanja i izvođenja a-capella napjeva uz povremenu pratnju instrumenta, na način na koji su radili naši stari - iskreno, bez pretenzija i iz srca.
Natupa sa pratećim glazbenicima Damjanom Čakmakom na električnoj gitari i Fredericom Lanzom na klavijaturama i harmonici.
