Asymmetry Festival 4.0 @ Browar Mieszczański, Wroclaw, Poland, 03-05/05/2012

Asymmetry Festival consistently broadens the spectrum of its repertoire. This time acts from the widely understood electronics and ambient were added to the group of artists. The announced projects include the long anticipated, by the Polish fans, German doomjazz - Bohren & Der Club of Gore and Broken Note - a phenomena on the breakcore-drum'n'bass scene. Apart from them, the electronic stage of the Bourgeois Brewery will guest Nicolas Chevreux, Codeshift and Veathx.

Broken Note [United Kingdom] - the rhythmic music of the band has conquered the dance floors all over the world during the last 3 years. A mixture of great quality sound, punk attitude, pure energy and freshness, presented by them, allowed the duo to get through to the forefront of the dubstep and hard drum'n'bass artists in a blink of an eye. Their collection of successful collaborations includes works with Amon Tobin, Cooh and Machine Code. Considering the interest in their music, they are the main players of tomorrow for everyone, who's fascinated by heavy, punk electronics.

It is based on producing the mood via the use of a minimal, low-tuned instrumentarium. Jazz patents come here into contact with a dark, ambient atmosphere, drawing stirring imaged filled with anxiety as well.
